mrdobs, I believe that faith in Jesus is the only thing that deals with our need for reconciliation to God. Following a prophet and performing does not eradicate the sin nature we were born with. Only a propitiation for our sin nature can change us. That is what Christ did at the cross and thru the resurrection.

I think this whole deal is riddiculous. The newspaper needs to appologize and muslims need to chill out.
Besides religion is the stupidest thing humans ever invented. It has done more to seperate our species on this planet than anything else. This whole row is just another example of this!!!
Man has used religion to seperate our species, the religion doesnt teach seperation, man loves power, so they use the closest thing to a humans heart in some cases religion to shit all over the world

I'm not sure what you are looking for, dobs, but maybe it will help if I say:
I do not believe that Mohammed was a prophet of God. And I believe that his modus operandi was one of conversion via force/battle.
In contrast, I believe that Jesus was God incarnate and he dealt with our deepest need, at the cross and by conquering death via the resurrection.
I hope that clears things up.

When did this become a battle of beliefs, to each man his own, I like conversation about religion, but srguments are ridiculous, how can OPINIONS ever be wrong, its a belief of someone, who cares what the guy next to you believes as long as he respects your way, the whole point is to live together, so much insecurity about beliefs that people have to make statements against beliefs other than their own to reassure them, just believe or dont, and live a good life, fuck what the other guys says, nothing to do with you
