and thanks for that shining example of how not to read Apocolyptic literature (a mode which doesn't exist today).
And yes, the metaphor to the burning lake of fire, describes the conscious seperation of those who reject the mercy which is freely, that's right freely, offered to them. :)
Romans 3:
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our lord."

indeed you are, with that link, pavlov. ;)

Mohamed defended his tribes, he never set out and started a fight, when he took over mecca he did not kill the people inside of it, Muslim empires for the most part lived in peace with all religions, built churches and temples inside their kingdoms, when you interpret Quran from translation its already somewhat skewd, Quran was delivered in Arabic, and has never changed in script, people who convert know that the real meaning lies in the Arabic versions, not to say you cant read Translated versions and come out with the same meaning, but its not the original, now if you go find all of these so called negative aspects of scripture, and neglet the very simple meaning of Islam itself, then your missing the whole point, Islam means peace and submission to God and all of his creations, do you think hhis prophet would murder GODS creations to make them listen? I know people look for holes in every religion, the problem is they ignore the big picture, just the way I see it

Brook, maybe you think Hitler should go into eternity and receive an eternal stay in a nice cush resort?
- mrdobolina0
flagellum, you are such a smarmy holier than thou bastard.
You speak of tolerance and all you ever do is talk down to people, Your precious JESUS would not have appreciated that shit.

Genome,
I don't think there is a afterlife, it's a fairytale for those who wish to live in a state of perpetual infancy...

Mohamed also had slaves and treated his women like shit!
AWESOME!

whatever, dobs. "all you ever do is talk down to people." That's nonsense and I think you know it. Just because I confidently communicate a point... that's not talking down to someone. You need to understand how lively debate works.
- mrdobolina0
nah, you are a condescending prick.

Brook,
I know many who are Materialist Reductionists. I'm afraid that the existance of human consciousness alone is a strong enough evidence fore me, that everything cannot be reduced to matter and that there is something more to our existance than the 70 or 80 years we spend here, seemingly wired to ponder our existance.
