OK, I went from living in the hood in oakland with gunshots, trash and the local junkie living in his 'art bread truck' down the street to an duplex in boulder with an openspace/dogpark/mtn bike trails across the street and, just 15 minutes ago, some dude paragliding out side my window.
that's just plain weird ;)

it feels good hey. :)
thats the best news ive heard all day.
- sureshot0
I hope for the paragliding dude's sake, you don't live at the first floor.

yea, it feels good, I haven't gone for a ride yet and I think that when it will sink in. I didn't even have windows in my old place so even that is a great change.
and the parglider was about 500-700 up the hill just catching little thermals. pretty cool.

Visualizin the realism of life and actuality
Fuck who's the baddest a person's status depends on salary
And my mentality is, money orientated
I'm destined to live the dream for all my peeps who never made it
cause yeah, we were beginners in the hood as five percenters
But somethin must of got in us cause all of us turned to sinners
Now some, restin in peace and some are sittin in San Quentin
Others such as myself are tryin to carry on tradition
Keepin the schwepervesence street ghetto essence inside us
Cause it provides us with the proper insight to guide us
Even though, we know somehow we all gotta go
but as long as we leavin thievin we'll be leavin with some kind of dough
so, and to that day we expire and turn to vapors
me and my capers-ll be somewhere stackin plenty papers
Keepin it real, packin steel, gettin high
Cause life's a bitch and then you die

thanks all
Jack, I'll tell you how much my rent is if you tell me where your applying ;)
Actually the rent is more here that my old live work but I was there for 8 years with only one rent increase.
$1025 for a two bedroom split level duplex. Wages are pretty low in comparison to the bay area. Most jobs want to pay $20/hr for pretty technical jobs. Bring some clients with you from cali.

did you get that fucking lens?

spendogg, It is great weather today, feels very much like cali 'cept for the ice and snow lingering in the shadows and pretty cold mornings.
I'm looking forward to the next dump in the mountains. going to try for a mid week session.

rand, going to try to buy a house first ;) and we'll possibly be needing another car depending on the job scene.

I went from growing up in a white trash/black ghetto to an African shanty town to NYC, Queens (ok) to Upper East Side (nice) to my parents house to where I am now, which is decent and I'm comfortable.
Just ride it out, 'till your solvent enough to buy a house and relax.

I was hankering for another "JazX in Afrika" lesson...
