People REALLY have to read about the person they are voting for before they do so. And from a variety of sources.

i keep myself informed but at the end of teh day its my gut feelings about the leaders (more so than their parties) that really drives my vote.
and i will never forget Stephen Harper slamming Paul Martin, day after day after day, for keeping Canada out of Iraq.

i dont know man
its so hard to choose..
all of them has something that i dont like.. i am leaning toward Liberal again... dont like conservative.. NDP sucks..
so i rather vote green

I voted Liberal. Just because I wanted my first one to have SOME influence in the election. And b/c I don't think the Green or the NDP have enough issues covered. I do hate all the lying and scandal, but...

horton that is mainly the media. We don't really think Bush is as bad as the media and extremists paint it. You would have to live here in order to really vibe this. I didn't vote for him but am glad to have him now that things in Iraq are working. The world opinion is based on the mainstream media. Trust me, dont buy what you see on TV.

I think it'll be a minority government, because the country is pretty torn between the Conservatives and the Liberals.
There's no way the Bloc Québécois, NDP or the Green will win, but they are getting more votes each election time (well, maybe not the Bloc). So people who don't know who to vote for tend to vote for one of them.
Anyway, if there's another minority government that means that issues are most likely not going to get resolved quickly and another election will have to take place in a few years.

don't sigh. beneath all the uncomfortable election BS i truly believe Martin has a soft heart for our people, and a even sharper mind for the economy.
he's just been dealt an unbelievably difficult situation, and is squirming a bit as he tries to stay a float. but who wouldn't... he's human.

also, keep electing froggish PMs who hate your country, good move there, maybe if you coalesce to quebec enough times, they'll stop viewing themselves as superior to english speakers.
canada would probably be better off if it put more money grubbers in office. canada should be able to make more cash off of the US than the other way around.
