it would be a shame if the dem party nominated hillary. she's considered far left and polarizes too many people - there would be little chance of the dems winning the election.
my jury is still out on mccain...he is definintely moderate, but i'm not sure how conservative he'd be if he won.

Kerry proved that a long career in the Senate is suicide for a presidential bid (true for either party)..you just get too long of a voting record to defend/explain. I would say Obama would have to hit it now in 08 or leave the senate and run for a Governorship somewhere to remain a legit contender past the '08 date
