I rarely agree with JazX about politics, but...
Obama=Black
Clinton=Woman
Feingold=JewThis shit totally matters and may be factors that will lead to another republican victory.
Whatup with Joe Biden?
- Mimio0
They didn't have any luck with vetted Democratic W.A.S.Ps in the presidential and senatorial races in 04 either. The Dem leadership is shit out of ideas, because they're dealing with a progressively more and more conservative America every day.
- mrdobolina0
I'll vote for whoever gets the nomination.
- -sputnik-0
i don't think the dems are out of ideas because people are getting more conservative...just my opinion.
- mrdobolina0
I'm unsure that Joe Six-Pack even knows what 'conservative' even means anymore.
Conserving what exactly?
- Mimio0
Sputnik, take a longer view, dems since Clinton are moving towards the middle while still getting labeled liberal. This most recent "idea" of the dems playing the religion card isn't going to do shit either. 40+% of this country votes on a single issue.

yeah, I'm not trying to be a prick, but sh*t, the reason Bushie won was because of the Burbs and outlying hickvilles. Plenty of those in this country of ours.
- ********0
true Mimio, it's hard to define what a liberal is as well as what's a conservative. I know plenty of hardcore conservatives that think Bushie is somewhat moderate and hate him. hee hee crazy
- Mimio0
I would agree with them Jazx, Bush isn't really conservative, he just plays one on TV.
- ********0
yep, which leads me to believe it's all an act and that politics in general is a sham job. a hypocrisy in effect. Clinton was no different if you ask a lot of people
- mrdobolina0
except for the fact that clinton showed this nation a surplus and bush has borrowed more money than all presidents that preceded him combined.
- Jaline0
This general definition of conservative makes sense to me:
- mrdobolina0
"tending to oppose change"
That is nothing to be proud of, you know?
- ********0
true mrdobolina and although Bush is controversial, etc. if the country were flying high right now, financially speaking, there would be less attacks on him. even though Clinton was a goofball himself morally
- ********0

The funniest part about the whole conservative political movement in this country is, do you honestly think that any of these conservative politicians give a damn about gay marriage, abortion or any of these other issues? They just do that shit to appeal to their base. It is pretty evident when you start to read about just how many politicians were involved in that Abramoff scandal, indian gambling, labor laws in the marianas islands etc.
You may say that democrats are the same, but they do not walk in complete lock-step like the repubs do. Many dems have their own ideas most often to their own detriment.
