Any progress, people?
Is there a template for the glyphs?
- dopepope0
good call Typo. I was wondering why you hadn't been listed since you expressed interest.

I didn't read all the comments, i don't have time now, but the idea could be fun.
Melvetica, if you're interested in this sorta of thing you should do some research into 'exquisite corpse' project, and all other projects relating to serendipitous interaction.

btw: i'm down, i'll take Pp if it isn't taken yet.

lol, sorry one other thing.
I think doing it blindy would produce the most interesting results; however, deciding certain parameters could help it "gel."
Such Parameters could be:
1) Select the type style (serif, sans, bitmap, etc).
2) Pick a theme:
type in motion, on screen type, type from our childhood, etc.
3) picking x-height and o-width could insure the type worked well as a system (this maybe to picky).
4) You get the idea, there is a lot of things that we could do, yet keep it serendipitous and somewhat random.53

You dumb ass.

lol, i am a dumbass i hadn't realized they had all been picked. i just quickly went through some of the comments.
oh well, best of luck

you can do the comma 53feet, or the euro symbol.
complete the entire set. i say keep the list open til every possible glyph is represented. I hate when you have to substitute characters to use a face
- 53feet0
oooh the comma, let me know
- kyl30
I was just playing 53feet. ;)
there's plenty of symbols, numbers, etc.
Take your pic!

OK, anybody else feel we should keep this open for sign ups and develop a full featured typeface. If not I'll just shut my piehole.
- version30
kyle, i agree
Our current list is only referring to the upper and lowercase letterforms. I think the map might inspire some ideas for other input be it from new NTers to join or those chosing to be involved teaming up to complete and entire glyph set.

- MzEttoLena0
So did anyone ever decided when this is due and the rules and all that good stuff? Please let me know... email me... thanks
- ********0
yeah id still like to know too...
- mr_snuggles0
I think Melvetica is quite busy these days, so maybe if someone wants to take some ownership on the project to get the ball rolling, they should email her and see whaddup...
- Jude_smith0
Sup, not down for ownership but down for doing a Number say 1 or 4... if it ever gets off the ground...
