(Dec 7 05, 14:37)i could quickly mail you this; Aperture 1.0 Documentation - multi lingual.zip.. 7.4 mb... looks like bare bones basics.
there's PDF Turorials doing the rounds too, but they're total 150 mb.
- horton0
actually the documentation is pretty good.. getting started guide alone is 200+ pages.

hit me up horton!
thanks.

i've heard really bad things about this software..how is it working for you?
- deadpixels0
Yeah that review did seem pretty negative, haven't checked out the raw import quality yet, but they didn't say much about the layout organization area of the program which I think is the great selling point, really quick and easy to get around and find stuff. No ones going to throw away photoshop, its more a supped up iphoto or iview. Has any one used the web gallery and web journal export options? Seems quite a nifty pain free way of making and updating a blog

200 pages just to get started--can't wait

from what I've seen aperture is not competing with photoshop...
It looks more like organization tool, with a few image calibration tools, sort of like iphoto on steroids but without the painfull slowness...

Could you hit me up also horton!

(Dec 7 05, 16:44)so Why would you pay 300 some dollars for that when CS2 does this already? Is there a good argument for this?
