As if Galleries weren't full of stupid shit. Most artists are stupid jerks who think too much about themselves.
I'm getting really tired of this politically correct shit of not being able to say that something is wrong or stupid.
There is a lot of Bad Design and especially a lot of Bad Art. shit that you can't even remember. And selling your stuff doesn't mean anything.

All I meant was that I have accomplished things in my life and can back up what I am saying. If someone wants to take me down a notch fine but back it up. I am not good at selling myself, in fact I am quite horrible when it comes to my art that sells. I was making a point about bad design that is all the rage and someone decides to attack my character and say we should all just be quiet and keep to ourselves. This is a forum unto which we can speak of whatever we like. I am in the position to back up whatever I say. I was attacked by someone who says that their site does not even make them any money. Money makes the world go round unfortunatley and I am quite happy. I thank you for your resonses especially the ones who saw this a venue to agree or disagree. It's sad that some have to attack people for their opinions but I guess that is the Hooligan English way.
Yes there is shit hanging in galleries but again I can back up my mouth, I am out there for you to criticize. I'm not afraid of you looking at my stuff and objecting. I don't care. I don't care what you think and I don't try to sell myself. I can't stand talking about my art really but at least I am trying and at least I have something to show for it. It's like they say 'If you don't vote then you can't complain' well I voted, did you?

jaymac aside, I'm tired of the doodle graphics. They were never great to begin with. Always seemed like lazy design to me, just like uber-minimalism.

The deer lives because it spoke to a culture and audience- this is GOOD deisgn... overplayed now- YES YES... but no worse than drop shadows, lens flair, techno websites, and all the rest of it.
Good design communicates whether it be sketches or a flawless illutration.
Trends come and go... and the fact that such design is a trend in the first place shows it's impact.
