Oh please Dobs. Stop trying to egg shit on. Seriously, you really do like to stir stuff up.
P.S. - I have zero problem telling anyone anything to their face if it needs to be said.....good or bad. I don't just come on to NT and write a bunch of things I wouldn't say in person......I'm not THAT lame.

I just think it's funny how it's perceived as "making the switch" like giving up your vinyl record player for a cd player. As if it's only a matter of time for the people who haven't done it yet. I prefer InDesign, and FWIW it's the only program used at both schools I've been to and the few design jobs I've had.
Where I do see Quark being used, there's usually a bunch of younger designers trying to get the place to switch to InDesign.
Personally, there's something I like about the 3 main programs I use being by the same company.

cool man. thanks for the kind words.
for the record...
i dont think quark users are dinosaurs, and indesign users are L337. I actually prefer quark and gave indesign the ol college try.and to the point of the whole arguement, I guess i'd like to see a study done by print or comm arts to see a pendulum shift. but in the end i guess it really doesnt matter. the fact that many top design houses moved to adobe is just a matter of opinion.

if i didnt have 7 press checks today, plus a trip to fastsigns to get them to redo a job and the other crap going on in the office, i prolly could have formulated the above statement much earlier.
i was just a stressed dick all day.bloody hellllllll!!!

No worries. Thanks NonSeff. BTW, my issues with Dobs are seperate and stem from a whole bunch of other things.
