I just think it's funny how it's perceived as "making the switch" like giving up your vinyl record player for a cd player. As if it's only a matter of time for the people who haven't done it yet. I prefer InDesign, and FWIW it's the only program used at both schools I've been to and the few design jobs I've had.
Where I do see Quark being used, there's usually a bunch of younger designers trying to get the place to switch to InDesign.
Personally, there's something I like about the 3 main programs I use being by the same company.
