I would say it's how you project yourself as an individual or a company to the world. The visual representation of which is only a part.

"In marketing, a brand is the symbolic embodiment of all the information connected with a product or service. A brand typically includes a name, logo, and other visual elements such as images or symbols. It also encompasses the set of expectations associated with a product or service which typicaly arise in the minds of people. Such people include employees of the brand owner, people involved with distribution, sale or supply of the product or service, and ultimately consumers."

Would you trust them on a subject you know nothing about?I've seen so many errors within wikipedia it's reliability is a complete joke.

A company's brand is the projection of itself in it's marketplace(s). It has nothing to do with logos etc

(Oct 5 05, 04:16)I would disagree. It's not everything to do with logos but they do play a part.

depends per company... you may have a new product that projects you as a brand... not everyone is as well thought of as apple... but if they have a new product company may evolve by using it to front their brand.
