I just hit 1 year in NYC. I have never seen anything in my life lose its charm faster than mannhattan did for me.
I moved from Denver where men are free. I hope I can move back soon.

It honestly took me about 9 months to finally get use to living here. Its just finding the grove...and the people. I have a few people (no more than 5) that I enjoy, and have considered joining some kind of afterwork/on the weekends group. You live in NYC, im sure you can find something of interest that is public. Craigslist is probally your best bet

you need to make best out of it.
nyc can offer you so many great things. but you just have to keep your life perspective clear and straight. also make sure to set the priority right. it's so easy to lose it and hate what's happening.
every once in a while, i need to stop everything and just peace out. i don't regret living in nyc.

i meet all my friends playing world of warcraft.
first I befriend them then I invite them to stay at my place. Pay for there ticket etc and then when they arrive I tie them up and torture them to make them give me there account details so i can strip there characters for gold etc then to cover my tracks I chop them up into little pieces and feed them to the pigs out back.
