it would be really better to go on the streets and show your schlong off to people instead watching FOX. i was watching that bs over satellite 2 or 3 times and i never thought people could be so sold for stupidity like that.

Look, it's not like I watch it. I was just flipping th echannels and they were interviewing the Govenor of Alabama saying "Govenor, do you think it's shameful that the rest of the world isn't helping america out in it's hour of need..."
And I kept on flipping...but ...damn..I mean what a loaded, propanganda question.
And I'm no liberal, so whoever said that can go jump in a lake. I want nothing to do with any of these idiots that claim to be liberals.

all I would like is unbiased news coverage.
I don't want CNN's liberal slant and I don't want FOXNEW's conservative slant.
I just want the information. I hate watching most news, because the slant that comes out of everyones mouth is just stupid.
The news caters to the sensational and the contraversial instead of telling us what actually goes on in a day.
I hate that. But, I don't see this changing any time soon.
Could americans live without the news being entertaining? Yeah - that wouldn't last.

So the fact that the Fox news commentators don't mention it this morning in their little diatribes means either : A) they are incompetant at their chosen profession (possibly true) or that b) it's outside of the propagnada box. Can't let the People know that the Socialist Populist Leader of a nation that givces the US 10% of it's oil is offering help.

i've said it before, and i will continue saying it...FoxNews is an impenetrable wall of useless jungle sounds. and that has less to do with their political leanings, and more to do with the fact that they exhist simply to discredit other news agencies.
I don't really care that the NY or LA times reported something wrong. That is not indicitive of a "liberal media that hates the president," or whatever.
Furthermore, their commentators are absolute loons. If John Gibson, a man who confuses pissing people off with "accomplishment", ever said anything noteworthy, i missed it.

My heart goes out to those who have lost homes, loved ones etc in Katrina's wake, but i think its a slightly different situation than with the tsunami, for the most, that took everything that the people suffered from it owned, their homes, their livelihoods.
Yes whats happened in the US is tragic, but at least most have somewhere to go, and there is an infrastructure to cope with it, to start again.
