dude, maybe i wasn't clear. i directly oppose taking any more police action on.
in fact, i'm for the most part anti violence/antiwar.
i just kinda agree with him that iraq, being what it was/is (fact: gw and his boyz were going to do it anyway), probably could have been handled a lot more cleanly with targeted strikes and assasinations.

funny, we were just talking about that last night, A. i really don't miss pittsburgh that much. i want to pop in for a visit soon, but all my people have left as well...
san diego's kinda boring, though. i've been thinking i might go up to LA or SF for a while until i'm ready to settle down.

no president EVER is gonna force a previous president to do time or be arrested or whatever..
because he KNOWS that he may get caught for something, and the last thing he wants to do is create a precedent...same with assasination..

a few years ago i worked with a guy who had left a defense department possition.
he said they were working on an assassination missle.
basically the missle would fly around like a plane looking for targets using face recognition software. you could program a hundred faces into the software and the target would scan the surface until if found any of the faces. once it recognized the target it would ditch the airplane shell and fire down to the person.
this was 10 years ago.
it was an assassination missle.
pretty cool.

I pray that the Republicans nominate someone a bit more moderate for 2008 election... If this happens I predict a 3rd party "Religious Right" candidate (like Robertson) would run... splitting the vote...
I think it's likely the Repubs will swing a bit back toward the middle, because Bushie's agenda is spiralling out of control and very unpopular. And you know the rabid 'thumpers wouldn't be too happy with a reasonable man like John McCain.
