Who's got the lowdown?
I need to commit to something and drop 10 pounds by sart of snowboard season or I will be huffing and puffing the backcountry.
Summer made me complacent and time is running out
Anything online that anyone could point me to that has a proven track record?
I'm looking to structure my meals daily/weekly and also nail down a weekly excercise regimen.
Something like:
Monday : toast/oj for breakfast; salad for lunch; fish and veg for dinner; 30 mins cycling and 30 mins weights
That sort of thing.
Any leads, so I don;t have to troll through countless shitty google links, much appreciated

cut out all refined sugar, and bread and pasta...eat only high protein and minimal carbs.lots of spinach tuna chicken fish ( if you are out ask for grilled without oil or butter)
drink a shit load ( 3 big bottles a day) of water w/ lemon(cut up lemons in bottle neck sizes squeeze acouple in each bottle)
start your fitness with what you can handle:
running: start timing yourself with mini 7-10 mins-ers , 2-3 times a day . till you can do 30-45 straight through. at least 4 times a week .its really easy when u break it up
and to strengthen and keep limber:yoga 3 times a week or pilates.(pilates is exspensive though)
you'll feel awesome and be shredding with out the burn so soon.

Cut down on your portions!
My wife and I have been doing their point tracker plan, and it's really helped me to cut back on my portions, and to ration out "eating bad things." That, and I've been doing 45 mins of low-impact aerobics one day and 30 minutes of weights the opposite day, 30-45 mins. on a stationary bike following workout. I've been doing this for about 2 weeks. Doing this, I've lost about 4 pounds. Not much, but I can notice a difference. I don't wake up not wanting to get out of bed, I feel more energized throughout the day. I did Atkins a year or so ago, and I did lose about 20 pounds in the first two weeks, but I didn't shit for about a month, and I felt horrible. I was forgetting things, and there was a general feeling of "blah."
Good luck, man. Keep posted.
