So are you looking at BSS
- kld0
don't believe the hype, there are some great areas in oakland. The hills, rockridge, temescal district, piedmont ave. all very nice, safe and with lots of restaurants, dog parks.
great mountain biking in the hills which have regional parksthe entire length of the bay area.

I seriously think San Fran might be the coolest city in the US. Was only there for four days and have spent time in other cities like Boston, NYC, and of course live here in Chicago.
The weather was great there, transporatation was great, it didn't seem too tourist ridden, the shopping was excellent, and it was just so picturesque, I don't think you could ask for more beauty and enjoyment at your fingertips.
Hills/mountains, rolling landscape of the city, GG bridge, wine country, golden gate park, incredible cycling...What else am I forgetting?

hey Jevad
I lived in the bay area for a short time a few years back. Have lots of mates who are out there and lived around there.
Oakland is a good spot, or anywhere further out is pretty nice too. If you don't mind suburbia, Lafyette, Walnut Creek, Orinda are all very pretty and ideal family places. Easy to get back into the big smoke too. The Bart rocks.
When are you planning on a visit? I'm looking to get over to SF again for some business end of sept start of oct all being well.
- jevad0
We're planning on being there towards the end of september I *think*.
Much is still 'up in the air' with regards to certain things. But it sure sould be nice to meet up with people over there who know the scene!
Don - did you mean bssp?
- mg330
Hey Jevad, still being kind of new to America, you're gonna have to get one of those t-shirts that say Federal Bikini Inspector to show new friends who's really in the you-know-what.
- jevad0
LMAO!!
- jevad0
hey mg
might not be your scene - but some friends and I are sorting out a house in Breck for New Years and a couple days either side.
Think about it....
...
...
one.
- mg330
Might not be my scene...
If you're reffering to boarding all day, getting drunk at night from Breck. Brewery IPA, blasting music, waking up, downing 8 Advil, riding all day, getting drunk again, being even louder than the night before, hoping to wake up, taking 15 Advil, riding again...
that is by all means my scene.
But if your intent is more toned down than that, that's my scene too. I really enjoy sleeping.

bit of both my son...bit of both
; )
Throw into that mix a day of backcountry hiking and the sweetest powder you'll ever ride
- mg330
That's why I want to go. You've mentioned going backcountry there before.
Never done it myself but I know there's great stuff there. Not ridden there since 2000, not really been boarding since 2000. Long time.
But when I went to this tiny place in Wisconsin this past winter, I still had it. It was like I had never stopped riding. Two decades of skateboarding makes it like riding a bike.
What kind of $$ are we talking aside from airfare?
- jevad0
Not totally sure right now but probably about $200 a head for 2/3 nights...
- mg330
Jevad I enjoy looking down from space:
- jevad0
see that lake on teh left hand side?
that's where we'd be headed on the hike!
: )
- Donvitoviti0
Yes. bssp
- jevad0
Is that where you're at Don?
They do some really nice work by the looks of the site.
Certainly a company I'd be interested in visiting for a chat
- Donvitoviti0
No, I am at EVB.
But I have a few friends over at BSSP
It is an all around good company and would be a good company to work for esspecially if you lived out there. the commute would be great.
- jevad0
oh yeah thats right...EVB...awesome.
I shouldn't even be thinking about contacting places until I get my portfolio in order...have nothing on there from the past 1.5 years.
Living in sausalito and commuting to downtown would be sweet. Living and working in sausalito would be even sweeter
