"I want to know why and how Pat Quinn is still the coach for the Leafs, especially with the performance these past few years. He tends to do well as the Canadian Olympic Team coach, but I think they should give someone else a chance.
Jaline
(Nov 12 05, 16:22)"He's done a good job beating the Sens in the first round of the playoffs 4 times now.

(Nov 12 05, 17:21)I completely agree with that, but I think it also has to do with bad luck and having horrible goal tending two years ago. Lalime was great for the year, until that game against the Leafs and he just let everyone down. That's exactly why he was traded after and why we also have a new coach. Our new coach is awesome, and I can't wait until the Sens get into the finals of the playoffs. That's a given. I just really want them to win it this year. They deserve it, after being bashed for years before they started getting great.

awwww, crap. Montreal could've won, if it wasn't for the stupid, stupid penalty.
Whatever, the Leafs are going to barely get into the playoffs anyway.

detroit fan, you fucking suck

I hope Jiri's alright.
Anyway, the Leafs will be in the playoffs now because they're doing better than they did in the beginning. Plus, they have Sundin back. I didn't mind that he was gone, obviously. I remember when most of the Sens team had the flu nearing the playoffs a few years back and all the Leafs player they interviewed could say was 'boo hoo'.
It's a good rivalry, but it's hard to choose whom I want to win between the Habs and the Leafs. I was born in Toronto, but they're the Sens most famous rival.
Umm...basically...GO SENS GO. They have their bad days, but they're still in the top. I agree though, lots of time left:
1. Detroit Red Wings
2. Ottawa Senators
3. Carolina Hurricanes
4. Los Angeles Kings
5. Montreal Canadiens
6. New York Rangers
7. Vancouver Canucks
8. Calgary Flames
9. Nashville Predators
10. Philadelphia Flyers
11. Dallas Stars
12. Toronto Maple Leafs
13. Colorado Avalanche
14. Edmonton Oilers
15. Phoenix Coyotes

hockey lost me at "we (the owners and players) are going to fight over our fans money to such an extent that we won't even play hockey this season"
all of you make more money per game than i make per year. shut the fuck up and play your stupid game.
stupid greedy fucking bastards...
you don't deserve to have a league or a sport anymore.

I love Alfie (our captain). He gave up a part of his salary to stay with the Sens. And rightly so, I mean...they make a crazy amount of moolah, as many athletes do.

are you kidding me?
hockey player dont make squat compared to football, baseball and basketball.maybe they make a lot compared to soccer player

(Nov 22 05, 12:11)I know that certain athletes don't make anything (like those ones in various Olympics sports, especially ones in Canada), but come on.
Most athletes who are in such high-profile sports are definitely paid A LOT.

Sidney Crosby vs. Alexander Ovechkin
Pens almost got him too. We get Evgeny Malkin next year from Russia
4-0 Pens

The league minimum is like $450,000 isn't it?
I'd take it.

and the Pens almost blow another one. 5-4. But Crosby is a god on skates. Damn he's smooth

Go Maple Leafs!

Sens haven't been as great lately but we just need our injured players back. They're still winning and are at the top, but the players need to work on some things that they always have trouble with, especially come playoff time.
Oh, we finally beat the Hurricanes yesterday. The Sens have lost three times so far, and twice to the Canes.
