Yay, 3-0 for the Sens in the 2nd period.
I feel bad for Montreal because they've been losing a whole bunch of games. It's all Sundin's fault, haha. Anyway, the Leafs are inching up on the stats list, and Montreal is staying the same b/c they won so many games before. Anyway, I hope they can at least beat the Leafs. Of course, I want the Sens to win against them tonight :)

Today's game against the Kings was pure gold. Fights erupted after Avery punched Hasek in a big fight, so about 4 Sens plays and a bunch of Kings players had to go back to the dressing room every few minutes or so. The players were so heated that Hasek had to be taken off the ice about 8 minutes before the game ended (and was replaced by Emery).
Anyway, it was crazy. Hasek even came out REALLY far and kicked the puck, while sliding, out of a one-on-one play coming right at him.

great game. but I'm sorta not impressed because I'm part of a pool and chara is kiling my stats.

I can't wait to see who'll be on the Canadian team. Spezza and Crosby will hopefully be new additions.
And we've got Ed Belfour, Martin Brodeur, Curtis Joseph, and Jose Theodore for goalies, I'm guessing.
It's mainly up to Gretzky.

The Canadian team is going to be sick. I'm not sure they will name Crosby actually, but they'd be dumb not to. The Senators are tearing up the league. I told you Jaline, you're Roman!

shit. things are going well in the NHL these days.
sources are saying 40-45 mil for the cap next year........
you just KNOW there are going to be some holdouts next year wanting more money 'cause the league is doing better.

Lots of injured players on the Sens team. Canadian teams have always been the hardest for the Sens to beat. We're getting there!
Anyone catch the game against the Avalanches the other day? We were tied 2/2, and then the Sens got 4 goals in about 7 minutes during the third period.

Jaz, I don't think Crosby is going to be on the Canadian team. I want him to be, but it wouldn't be right to have him on the team just b/c Lemeux recommended him.
Carolina's Eric Staal should be the first choice, and then some older players. After all that, they can consider Spezza and Crosby. I'm not going to mind whoever Gretzky chooses, as long as the team has some awesome players.
Bertuzzi has a good chance of making the roster, I think.

(Dec 15 05, 13:04)The Leafs and the Sens have an ongoing rivalry. Brutal hits are always going to be there. It's hockey. But of course I'm not going to care if my team hits another team and still follows the rules.
As for Alfie, I mean he's a great captain because he actually has leadership:
