Now I hear NASA is being sued by PETA for hitting a bird accidentally on the way up hahhaa, f*cking PETA losers.

JazX - really? Link?
if that's true, that is the stoopidist thing I've ever heard...
..well, one of them.
- Mimio0
Jazx, come on, that can't be true. NASA does in vivo experiments on the shuttle and the ISS, you'd thnk they'd protest that first.

that's what i call being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
that bird was just flying around minding it's own business looking for some poor bastard to shit and on and BAM... a shuttle up your ass. oh the irony.
- Mimio0
What a ridiculous rumor.

NASA is gonna slip up again... they always do.

-------------------Two shuttle crashes in the history of the shuttle program, where success far outweighs failure does not constitute the words "NASA is gonna slip up again... they always do."
That's absurd.
- Mimio0
I guess they were digging up the old Venus rockets before the blanket grounding was announced. If you got'em, use 'em.

(Jul 28 05, 09:29)how do you think all those nifty satellites get up there? do you honestly think nasa just sends up an empty ship each time? it always carries a payload from corporations that pay them to orbit their satellite(s)

"Non-Terrestrial Officers?" I say.
"Yeah, I looked it up," says Gary, "and it's nowhere. It doesn't mean little green men. What I think it means is not earth-based. I found a list of 'fleet-to-fleet transfers', and a list of ship names. I looked them up. They weren't US navy ships. What I saw made me believe they have some kind of spaceship, off-planet."
"The Americans have a secret spaceship?" I ask.
"That's what this trickle of evidence has led me to believe."
"Some kind of other Mir that nobody knows about?"
- ThreeSevenFive0
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that...
wait, maybe it does?
- jakeyj0
i thought satellites got launched on their own.
- ********0
nope. i can only name a few countries that launch their own rockets. somewhere once i saw a graphic that depicted all the satellites in orbit. quite a few.
nasa sends shit up each time. that's what the huge cargo bay is for.
- Nairn0
? Yeah.. they come with these big, fuck-off-sized springs on the bottom...
