it airs the same time as Rescue Me here, so I never watch BG more than the commercial breaks last on the other channel with Rescue Me.

Being an oldster like JazX I refused to watch it at first remebering how bad the original was (well I loved it at the time, but it hasn't aged well)..Then I caought it one night at the end of last season and was like "WOah! What have you done with my Battlestar Galactica and why is it suddenly frakin' awesome!"
One of the better shows on TV now for sure...

Thank crap it's coming back in January. I kept hearing 'season finale' and wondered what the hell's up with these short seasons this fall.

I guess I happened to see an episode where there were seriously no Cylons. I kept looking over at my lady saying "Where are the fuckin Cylons... this ain't Battlestar Galactica". Based on that one show, I couldn't give it another chance.

Well, cyclons are an integral part of the show, and are in almost every episode...so you must've been talking about one that was oriented around politics or something. Because there are many episodes about the cylon in the fleet and the cylon 'talking' to Dr. Baltar.
Unless you're talking about the cylons that are obviously mechanical on the outside. Then, you're right about them not being in every episode. But they're in most of them.

Absolutely one of the best things on television right now. Also - you'll be pleased to know that Sci-Fi Channel just inked the deal for Season 3. Woo!

yeah I heard about that, w00t! We get it on the Space Channel here. No real delay or anything. I believe that the rest of it starts near the beginning of January.
