Well, cyclons are an integral part of the show, and are in almost every episode...so you must've been talking about one that was oriented around politics or something. Because there are many episodes about the cylon in the fleet and the cylon 'talking' to Dr. Baltar.
Unless you're talking about the cylons that are obviously mechanical on the outside. Then, you're right about them not being in every episode. But they're in most of them.
