They invaded to democratizeoil rich OPEC nation in the Middle East. The skirt of the war machine (Halliburton, CSC/ DynCorp.) was crafted to get the US taxpayers to foot the bill for corporations to be formed and funded for current and future nation building endeavors. They're just ramping up.
