So the cosmic circus moves along, its tiniest clown gone to rejoin it once again.

Science and religion is just one big crazy do not enter clambake jungle of weirdity -- and how does it work? Never mind!

You know... I've heard the smarter you are, the more wrinkly your brain. And your guys' brains must be the wrinkliest! Oh, sure, ordinary Joes like me, maybe our brains are a little on the smooth side. But you don't have to be a genius to know that evil is bad. And good isn't!
Science!!!

Notice how Discipler switches the focus from the claim of the existence of God to contrasting two theoretical viewpoints about the origins of life. In the same "frame of logic"(bare with me) I could presume that from either of those two ideas a souless eternal pulse of energy initiated all things and still have a valid explaination.

DUDE, SCHIAVO WAS BRAINDEAD!

Yeah Mimo we noticed. That's his schtick. That's ID's schtick.
They are masters of rhetoric in a Socratic way. Brilliant actually. Self delusional as well, but brilliant.
Honk if you love science!

Goodbye, NT.
I will no longer post here. (I know how sad this will make you all. ;)) There are just too many belligerent people like Kuz, who are more concerned with appearing "right" and flooding posts with subjective or outdated material, than looking objectively at the facts, or thoughtfully considering a legitimate response. Not to mention those who just want to keep playground rules in effect and ridicule. But, alas... philosophical considerations - not facts, not science - prevent fact from being accepted by so many people here.
So, kuz and the rest, feel free to post away, you'll get no reply from me. It will just be a gang of like-minded people agreeing on the same data.
I wish you all the best - time to move on.
*One final point for mimio: How would a non-cognizant "pulse of energy" produce the complexity of a single cell which requires all it's components simultaneously to function? Keep in mind that it's been established that the constituent parts of the cell cannot form together on their own. In fact, how could a mindless pulse generate any matter at all?
The point is that the evidence shows a complexity in organisms that would require intelligence to design.
Cheers, all.

Discipler,
I was just hypothesiszing that the laws that govern our universe wouldn't apply to things outside our univrse. Much like you postulate that God is the prime mover or innitiator of all things, and exists without a cause himself. I'm saying that a truly infinite force/energy could do the same thing, since it would have the capacity and time to innitiate every possible iteration of a universe and it's contents. I'm basically just sharing an idea of Stephen Hawking's that I think explains that well. Look up his Universal Wave Function, pretty fascinating ideas there.

We convinced JazX that his girlfriend wasn't real and he still came back.

let's talk about a sub theory of evolution involving viruses that spread rapid evolution throughout species. this would help explain the sudden jumps in evolution that have been observed.
or we can talk about the beliefs of inbred hillbillies from arkansas.
whichever.
