As I first stated here, Creationists explain it through Biblical interpretation. In the book of Genesis, there is a point that talks, obviously, about creation, no where does it say how long this creation took. Essentially, that's how it is done in their eyes.
ID people are on a different level, but I suppose rationalize it much the same or state the amount of time it took varies.

I've been following both these threads...how do the ID people explain the dinos? I think discipler had a link...but I'm not loco enough to search all the posts!
If God created all, he also created the dinos, right?

Yeah it was Geology Camp, hahhaa much, much worse than band camp. If you only saw the nerds at this place and none of them were althetic, they kept falling down hills in Utah, cutting themself up. I was helpin' them up every five seconds and sh*t.
Some rock types can be nasty sharp. tee hee, I had to cook one night and I set the camp on fire hahaha, god they hated me. I was an idiot.
Come to think of it...
I'm still pretty much an idiot.
:P

that is cool.

Speaking of Dinos, when I finalized the Geology/Paleontology aspect of my BS, I found a huge cluster of lithified/mineralized dinosaur eggs in Wyoming. Still got 'em. Of course they're nothing special, but pretty neat anyway.

- TheTick0
Hey Yars - Jesus wasn't too friendly to the Pharisees. I'm not to friendly to christian fundy biblical literalists. Doesn't make me less of a christian.

let's talk about a sub theory of evolution involving viruses that spread rapid evolution throughout species. this would help explain the sudden jumps in evolution that have been observed.
or we can talk about the beliefs of inbred hillbillies from arkansas.
whichever.

Discipler,
I was just hypothesiszing that the laws that govern our universe wouldn't apply to things outside our univrse. Much like you postulate that God is the prime mover or innitiator of all things, and exists without a cause himself. I'm saying that a truly infinite force/energy could do the same thing, since it would have the capacity and time to innitiate every possible iteration of a universe and it's contents. I'm basically just sharing an idea of Stephen Hawking's that I think explains that well. Look up his Universal Wave Function, pretty fascinating ideas there.

Shut yo mouth boy, I'm just talking about Black Jesus
