best thing i ever did. met a lot of great peopel, got a great job. obviously i can't speak for everyones individual experience, but i love it. could use more money of course... but thats just how it is out here

True, it does warrent that, but I read all kinds of stuff and talk to all kinds of people, then I decide. I am not moving there because someone on NT said to do so.

duder, i'm not serious...
your best bet would probably be to get the keys, take a week or two, stay in the place in NY and see how it works out. Especially before you start applying to schools...

don't respond toasterboy- they're just being asses.
come spend some time here and see what you think. it's great but it can be a hard city- as faras apt's go and things being expensive. but with anything if you want it you'll put up with certain things and you get used to it.
