i moved to ny a year ago this week! got for it man.
i agree is the brooklyn posts, i live in park slope and love it. all my friends in the city can not belive how quiet it is and apts are much larger. i looked in williamsburg too, which is the hipster trendy area to live now, nice lofty spaces but more $$ the the slope unless you live on the fringe in gross places.
if you keep your car, just do not register for insurance in ny.

Park Slope is the best! I miss it. I miss OConnors but they probably don't miss me.

well you can try manhattan and if you get frustrated go straight to brooklyn. but i wouldn't go to jersey city- it doesn't have the vibrancy of manhattan or brooklyn and you have to deal with the path train and expensive cab rides.

Hey e-pill you ever been to the beer garden in queens, that place is DOPE!

New York is great... free booze all the time you can get an office for $300/mo if you know how. And all kindas of crazy things but NYC = investment of time and meeting ALOT of people... it is kinda slowly turning into LA on a sad note.
- tehgee0
why not?? u could always goback

Sadly I never had a loft but I did have a great apt on W.12th

yes i used to live in jersey city also lived in manhattan and now in park slope. i don't live near the f train so i don't have to deal with that. i'm in north park slope - i can take the q,n,d,b, 2,3, 5, 6 so it's very convenient.
i always say this- my problem with jc is that when you want to take a taxi home it 's 40 bucks just cos you go thru the tunnel
- jdcomba0
agree with the cab thing, but other than that.....
