cloned, ironically, i'm considering it because i've been working for a charity for a long time now and the time has come to change jobs. however, the bloody home office is making me purchase (!) my new visa for a highly unreasonable sum, so i really need to stash some dosh.
don't worry, all funds thereby accrued will go straight into the pocket of "society"!

I heard that squatting in London is much different than you would think.
In some cases its the same as haveing your own paid place I thought. ie. you can put locks on and call it yours, have everything a normal apt. would have etc. until the owner asked for it back.

i've got mates who have amazing palatial squats with running water and electricity and the works. some are a little more... hmm... industrial.
it's kinda a nice idea, i think. especially since it's only for a month. can't imagine it in the winter.
