Speaking of Moby, you don't hate all these vegetarians? They don't know what they miss, one third of culinairy culture (which I don't take lightly - if I wasn't a designer I would be a chef)

i was a strict vegetarian many times during my life. i eat chicken and fish and the ocasional steak now, although the protein in my diet consists of 80% soy products, i love tofu!!!

Whatever floats your boat. If you like sausages, dig in. There's so many reasons people decide to go veg; health, ethical, religon...
When you get down to it though, any living thing with a central nervous system is responsive to pain. So on the rational side of it, it just makes sense.

I have a bunch of friends the are vegetarians and vegan...for some people it works, others I notice start to shrivel up like a frail twig and float away......

I hear you. I've seen people decide to go strict vegan and think they can live off vegan chocolate cake and tofutti ice cream. o_O
Have you seen the redesigned food pyramid? It's still hideous, but at least out of the 50's and up to 1980's vernacular.
