(Apr 20 05, 16:10)Are you just stringing words togethor and hoping they will make sense?
How were you being sarcastic?
How did you compliment the French?
And how did you do it indirectly?

1.No, I said I don't like foi gras, but I like ham and fish (in french).
2.By saying that over here in 'merica we don't care bout the feelings of no animals, they just taste good n crunchy. If u give a shit bout this sorta thing, move to France.
3.One of the popular prejudgements around here are that the French are less aggressive people, not as prone to violence, more apathetic, etc. I dont know if it's true I've never been to France, but again this was in the name of satire and sarcasm.
4.It was indirect because to end my point on the lack of care directed to animals, I used France as a place to go if you don't agree with what I'm saying (that animals are only around to be eaten and skinned). I would have said goto China but that wouldent have made any sense (oops).

2. That is still not sarcasm.
3a. Did you mean prejudices?
3b. Do you know what apathetic means and if so how does it fit in with being more concerned for an animals welfare?
3c. I'm not sure you have the best grasp of what satire is. Thats ok, its a tricky one.4. I have no idea. I give up.

3b.Opps, I meant empathetic, not apethetic.
