you pay for their selection, not their box. as far as not being able to tell the difference, that is subjective and i beg to differ.
you forget that another very important aspect of diamonds is the cut. the tiffany brilliant cut is explosive. if the table is too short or long etc., you will never get the same fire. their cut is worth every penny.
their website does not display prices.
look, if you don't dig it that's ok. just don't insult people who are educated about gems and want to buy a tiffany diamond.

oh jeez. my husband and i are in 100% agreement on everything we purchase. i told him i didn't even need a ring, but when he insisted we looked at everything, everywhere. when you drop money on something like that, you make damn sure that you're getting the best value for your money.
