My point is, no iraqis knew who was going to be on the ballot until they submitted it. How democratic is that?

I hope there is a window between heaven and hell.
I don't care which side I am on... I just want to see who won so I can apologize... or I can laugh in your face.

I live at 150 Baghdad Lane and my family with wife and 2 daughters will be available for kidnapping right before the election.
I do have one very nasty mother-in-law who is available for torture if you are willing to leave my family alone

"We have freedom now, we have human rights, we have democracy. We will invite the insurgents to take part in our system. If they do, we will welcome them. If they don't, we will kill them."
80-year-old Rashid Majid in the NYT
That's the spirit!

there really is something very odd that you can't just have entered this thread with congratulating the 8 million courageous Iraqis for risking their lives to vote. Instead you wish to seek out the worst to try and confirm your beliefs of this administration. It really is sad. Thankfully there are some people who seek peace and justice and aren't in it for there own selfish political egos.
- mrdobolina0
cola, one last time. they didnt even know who they were voting for.
no ego
no politics
no nothing

the best policy in lame posts like this is just not to respond. If the majority of posts from an individual are solely political in nature, it's logical to assume that they're a conservative mouth piece empolyed by one right wing activist group or another. Alot of these groups employ people solely to troll message boards and argue for they're side. Do your bit by ignoring them.
And, yeah I know I look like a hypocrite responding to this post after what I just said, but you have to alert peeps when they're viewing propaganda. Propaganda only works well when it's invisible.

we need a civil war in the u.s.
*wonders why QBN hasn't "liberated" this thread.
"wake up from your brainwashing session. The same media that told you Iraq was a mess and we need to postpone the lections were wrong.
Maybe it's time you all start looking at your resources as part of your problem. You seem to enjoy being in the dark and misinformed.
trobuta"I don't wether to laugh or cry.

mrdobolina you are strengthening my argument.
They risked their lives and the lives of their families to vote not even knowing what they are voting for. They did know that they were voting for something called democracy and it appears that, than in of itself was worth risking their lives for.
Here is what they did know...
They voted against the insurgents. They voted against the press. They voted against YOUR beliefs that they couldn't do it. They did it.
You should drop your ego and learn from it. Your media has been lying to you telling you it couldn't happen. The media has said that the US and Iraq was a disaster. Meanwhile 8 million people just proved that incorrect and proved that infact Iraq knows what they want. They proved the UN incorrect. They proved the US, UK, NL and JP was right and was giving to them what 8 million Iraqis wanted.
Admit it. Be happy for them. I would like to see you risk your life for a belief that strong. They were told they would die if they voted, but they voted anyway. Yet you still try and say that 70% of the registered voters isn't enough? Shame on you!
