It's funny how people working in advertising easily get fooled by well placed marketing strategy. Do you post the amount of money you gave to a beggar on your front door? So how do we know about the 3mil, huh? Didn't the PR dept release the news? But still, it's ok, they give people the impression that everyone should donate and I'm sure a lot of the undecided follow.

Not sure if anyone has said this but if they hadn't done that I imagine all the people here who think it's a marketing strategy would be the exact same people asking why Steve Jobs doesn't stand up and do something about it. I think I even remember someone already asking why Bill Gates isn't helping.

also if I were one of the survivers at Sri Lanka I would just be happy that money was coming in even if it were from some companies PR. At least money is being raised and I am sure Apple is helping with that index page. In the end that is all that matters.

I hate die hard apple fans but that homepage is a good thing. Doesnt make me like the fuckers any more or less but its a reminder
