I double posted because of my fast fingers double clicking on the "broadcast live" btn. it has nothing to do with my PC :)
Mac's are just such a waste of money... i might as well buy myself a pretty painting and look at it all day long instead of a mac; i'll get the same use out of it ...

i use it for nothing more than movies... apple, makes pretty products, that is about it.

shit I have two macs:
15' G4 PowerBook
Dual 2.5 G5 Power Macand they are not the end all be all. My 2 year old PC rocks the house too...and runs circles around the PowerBook...I don't notice all that much difference in speed to the G5 either.
If its all about style then you are buying your tools for the wrong reason. I agree Apple makes some pretty products but swinging from Job's nuts is plain gay...anyone want my white apple stickers that came with the G5, I won't be using them?

So in essence the little red x is the same as the yellow minus...so whats the point?"
No... closing a document isnt the same thing as minimizing. The point is it takes a few seconds to launch a program, and it seems to be no problem to leave them all running but idle. Usually, I'm selecting/launching documents to work on, not launching programs.
