sucks to loose your job right before christmas. Happened to me on a Friday a couple days before christmas 3 years ago. Sucked, 'cus I had to spend the day after christmas in the unemployment line.... can't tell you how mad I was.

Janurary is the busiest month here for us. I suppose its probably the same there. Jan is the best time to find a job because everyones so busy and often needs extra hands after the slow xmas time.
Things will be alright, just keep your head up.
