alright, i do symphathise for you, but you're being ridiculous. there is tons of freelance work, for exactly the same reason you got fired. companies can't afford full-time employees if they don't have work for that employee to do. they'd much rather pay someone when a project comes up. i'm just trying to help...

listen i know, i didn't make this thread in order to milk compliments or for sympathy.
But I'm a bit afraid right now because of when this happened. I mean who the fuck lets people go right before xmas? If they had done it in the new year, I would have moved on just like anybody else.
This shit just dropped on me like a bomb. I would have been sure that they'd let go of the junior rather than the senior. I'm not even done training him, and they put this on my shoulders?
Anyways, I agree and reading back I do sound pathetic. So my apologies for that. I'm picking myself back up ... but man, what a kick in the jingle bells.

i know you want this thread to die and all, but if you go to some design firms and ask them about freelance work, you'll find some. when i was looking for a full-time job a while ago i was offered so much freelance work.
