As you may know, recently 2A have been doing alot of 3D work, not abstract, but actual models. So what do you think of these?
I personally think they are horrible, not only is the modeling bad, but the textures they put on them tend to be bad too.
Your opinions on 2A's new style please.

i agree. 2A seems to be stuck in the 90's.

It's one of those situations where I really wish I had some pork based hand lotion at my desk.
But anyhow, are you talking about built actual 3d models that are photographed?
2A are doing this now?

their 3D is ok.
not as breathtaking as KDLab's reel..
omg.. that one still makes me cry like a little boy..

Comparing KDLab's 3D to 2Advanced is like comparing apples and oranges.
For starters, 2Advanced incorporates 3D into Flash and as a result, has to keep the poly count and texture res low enough for bandwidth purposes. Also, it seems fairly obvious that they are going for a fairly-stylized look--propably to compensate for bandwidth issues.
From what I can gather about KDLab, from both looking at the site and talking to people who know them, the modeling isn't all that complex in the least bit. The lighting and composition is what gives it such a photo-realistic look. And so far, global illumination and final gathering (what makes the 3D scenes look photo-realistic) are not plausible for flash-based 3D.

Still one of the apex of 3d+flash
