Any of you tried it yet?
- GreedoLives0
haha yeah i went on a fast like 8 or 9 years ago. i did it for a week, but after 4 days gave up the cleanser coz it tastes like absolute shit (and switched to milkshakes and fruit juices)
I didn't have any problems with it tho, no fatigue, no weakness, so it does indeed work; if you can handle the awful taste.

I want to try it. Did you lose any weight? How did you feel during and after? I have heard you should ease in and out of it. As in if you should eat lightly like fruits and veggies for a week first if you are really toxic or you may get sick when all the toxins are released. Also I heard if you start regular foods right away you can get real sick.

yup. did it just last month. the fucking cayenne pepper wrecked my stomach the whole time though.
the first couple days are the worst, then it gets pretty easy. i got way better sleep after i did it. felt a lot better too. i got to do it again now that i think about it. ugghh, but yeah i can't even stand the taste of maple syrup anymore.
oh and one more drawback...you get really sick of your hands smelling like fucking lemon... but it is definately worth doing.

if i wasn't so weirded out by the process of colonics, i would totally get one done - i hear they make you feel like a new person.....so much healthier

How long do you substitute that for regular meals?

I'm interested in this detox thing, any more useful articles about it?
Ideally I'd like to fit one in before the weekend, I can probably fit one in on wednesday heheh.. seriously though, how long are you recommended to go for?
and yeah, collonics sound like they make sense except for the part where you lie there with a hose up your sherrif badge.

probably, but not really the point. i would say about 10 pounds if you went on it for a week is probably close
How did you feel during and after?
first two days i had crazy fucking headaches. i drink way to much caffeine and eat my fair share of sugar, so to stop intake cold turkey was rough
I have heard you should ease in and out of it.
yeah, i just ate light meals a couple days before starting

umm, not sure. i started to eat vegetables mostly when i stopped the fast. i wouldn't recommend going out for a 34 ounce steak and a 1/2 pound of fries if that is what you are wondering : )

oh, and i wouldn't recommend starting it until thursday or friday night if you have a fulltime job. i basically slept the second day i was doing it. i was super tired and the only thing to take my mind of my headache was to sleep. after the first couple days though (actually the third or fourth day i think) i needed less sleep than normal. it was sweet.

Yeah that's what Robin Quivers did. My brother read a ton about the subject. There are many sites and forums on it too. The main info comes from a small book at Amazon called Master Cleanser. I have heard that if you keep going you will lose only the amount of weight you need to. Some people go a long time. Even 8 weeks or more.
That's a little extreme for me.
I would really like to get a colonic too. I haven't been able to get myself to do it yet though. My brother did and said it wasn't bad.
Check out all of the benefits and diagrams of how the average Americans colon starts to look like. For a lot of people 'plugs' that stop up the colon and parasitic worms come out. They also say the average American has like 20lbs of food impactred in the colon.

if you don't have it, here you go:

i think i am going to break down and try a colonic, f**k it, i mean the embarassment is worth the benefits.......
i'll resurface this thread if i move forward on it, and of course post daily picts of my withering away to nothingness

oh, and just disregard the weird religious shit in that article. it's good nonetheless.

hmm, when i did it, it was right after christmas and i did it because i felt disgusting after all the roasts and shit that my relatives made me eat over the holidays. Didn't do for weight loss, but more to give my poor digestion a break.
Started it off with a salt water brine drink which basically just flushes everything in you out. Kinda nasty.
I didn't get tired or anything, i wasn't really drinking coffee back then. But i definitely couldn't handle the taste of it, it just became more disgusting to me over time. I felt good, though, already and full of energy. I weaned myself off it with three days of milkshakes and fruit juices, since i was determined to go 7 days without eating, but after that i ate normal with no side effects.I should probably try it again, but i wouldn't do it for weight loss. As soon as you stop it, you'd just pack on the pounds again unless you modify your behavior for good.

Id did the whole liver/bowel intestine clense diet a few months ago. Never felt worse afterwards. I will never try and be healthy again.

I'm pretty sure if you exercise and drink lots of water, you can purge out a lot of toxins. well that's what i've been told.
- slag_you_off0
yep exactly right...
lots of ruffage, water and 30 mins exercise 3 times a week, will loose the burgers and beer.
