Hackney is a good spot, the trains are nevr late, crack is plentiful and you are only ever 30 seconds away from fried chicken.

Hmm. I work in the Docklands and I hate the place. Too quiet on weekends and no real pubs - just bars. And FULL of suits during the week.

no point in bashing all of south London as there are some nice places about.
and the transport in is fine.
2 places i stay with mates are stockwell which has tube and land trains and penge which has 2 trainlines!

Yeah probably...though I never drink in there anymore - feels like I'm still at work! I work on the floor above them...know a couple of them, nice guys.
