even the posh people in south london smoke crack, the only ones who dont are the fucking south africans who live in wimbledon and they're already off their faces on arrogance and ego trips.
actually I lived in St. Reatham for a while, and.. oh yeah.. it was shit.difficult to say where you should look into, its rather big ya see, depends where you are going to end up working and what you're budget is.

Yeah don't go south, the transport's shit and there loads of gromit's on bikes trying to nick your phone. I live in the isle of dogs and its lovely, cheap but nice and only 25 minutes from old st/clerkenwell.

South London is a really good place to live [it's away from all the 'design' twats like gradiate and his Old street gang!], and it's a good place to work as well.

I'd hate to work in old street/clerkenwell, I think I'd end up strutting into yo fucking sushi, sos or the lux or one of those fag joints and just spraying them with bodily fluids (which I had cunningly been saving in glass viles over the previous months.)

If I ever go back to work in London I'm going to live somewhere completely different and commute.
Ipswich ! Its an hour on the train and another world; boats, seagulls, suffolk air, the River.

Greenwich is nice, I lived there for 3 years - but, there's not much more around it. Agreed you have blackheath, but if you walk in any other direction you get Charlton, deptford or lewisham
a year in greenwich is a good idea, but anymore it gets a bit samey
