Just cut and paste your comments from the last one. It will be neat.

Regardless you think MM is right or wrong.
it is A fact that the already paranoid americans have become even more so post 9/11
and to make matters worse.... no one wanted to stop or question the war (some actually support it) and now that the mess has be created in Iraq , the govt wants to come leave it and come back... lets see how much economic, social and millitary support Iraq gets.
Probably as much as Afghanistan.p.s the whole spreading democracy shit is nothing but an updated "spreading christianty"...empire building process.
Culture cannot be created it evolves.

for the right wingers—
I will repeat what others have already said:Please list the lies in MM's films.
I think if you take the truth-lies={still a hell of a lotta truth}.
As flawed as he he is, Michael Moore still destroys your chimp Bush.
PLEASE VOTE.

I vote you didn't take the time to read through any of the links I posted for the 2nd or 3 time. I vote you read the first couple of sentences or saw the web address, got upset and stopped reading. I vote you only want everything sugar coated an nicely wrapped, spoon fed and inserted into your thought process.
I detest MM, but at least I've taken the time to read some of his books and watch some of his movies, though I never bought a movie tcket or paid for a book. Then i looked around to see what other's were saying, I poured through every resource available to me, read a bunch of different books and kept an open mind, and made mine up. I suggest you do the same. Read books.

the way you think today is governed by what books you have read, and in what order you have read them.
- johndiggity0
That's why I read a lot all the time.

IMMORTAL AYATOLLAH

J-Dig. When do you find time to read?
- Abby_Someone0
Plus, comprehension of what you read is far more important than the volume you read.

john diggity you get no diggity...
I am the Talking Asshole of Sean Hannity and I say
YOU ARE FIRED!
now fetch me some Oxycontin infused Steak Pieces so I can eat then use the grease to form an Exxon Valdez Spill Reagan Helmet on my head to receive the transmissions from L Ron Hubbard that tell me to wear a new dress everyday when I go on the Air and Speak against Michael Moore and poor, underpriveleged people
REPEAT AFTER ME:
NOTHING IS WRONG
EVERYTHING IS COOL
GO WITH THE FLOW, DUDE
NASCAR LOVES YOU
- Abby_Someone0
... and thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart
- TransFatty0
p.s.
vote nader

I don't listen to Limbaugh, don't watch Hannity or O'reily, been to Walmart once, and give don't give a flying fuck about NASCAR.
It's nice to generalize if it makes you feel better, but you're wrong. And I have plenty of time to read seeing as I barely watch television and only sleep about 3 hours a night, and a lot of what I read, I read a couple times to be sure I understand it. I used to look up words I don't know in a dictionary as I read, but someone on the thread pointed out the Meriam and Webster must be on Fox News now because they didn't agree with the definition of documentary.

*jumps into the ring.
little big point. Ive never been to W-Mart but I understand it is a discount store. I'm sure many people who shop there do so out of economic necessity rather than ideology. I doubt Bush and his sickening rich boys club of "have's and have mores" shop there. I have a bigger problem with the shoppers on Wall Street than those at Wal-Mart.
remember:

well, Wal Mart is like this Vietnam Veteran's trucker cap I once saw : "If you weren't there don't say a word". Where I live, it's like Pan-Islamic bazaar filled with assimilating bags of potato chips, white trash moving at the speed of light so there molecules disappear and they are invisible....long lines of uranium poisoned Cows, above all hovers a Mothership made of aluminum and blinding flourescent Liberty & Taxes Death Lasers........and many copies of Sean Hannity books.....

i shall try to Dinkify this thread again

- TransFatty0
all the energy in this debate is impressive.
alot of things in this thread are heartfealt, at times eloquent ....
i would like to see all of the people on these forums go out and do something that supports their strong feelings on these matters. whether for or against Bush.
activate yourselves and try and change the future with your own hands.
typing your thoughts is good,
and at times highly entertaining .... it also helps to organize your thoughts ....but soon it will be time to hit the streets and activate your beliefs ...
i hope all of you take matters into your own hands and do something real with your feelings.
seriously ....
there is 5 months until november ....

i ask people to start activating themselves by reading the papers and paying attention and study the ads and commericals you see, there's more there than you think....

Plus my gripe with the dictionary definitioin thing is not that it's wrong - but simply that there is a lot more to documentaries than that. It's an art form. An essay. So in fact i think that is a real stupid definition of documentary. Just like a well written essay, a documentary is a lot more than simple fact. It's really stupid of u to be using that to attack Moore. Because that definition tells u nothing. Moore's films use news-footage, and interviews - so what does that mean? Nothing. Look beyond dictionary defintions and think for urself - find out about the nature of the beast that is documentary.
