but you CAN'T trust the audience, they're misinformed by the culture of fear, advertisements, color coded terrorism indicators, Wal Mart, and non-nutritional food, and min numbing work.....oh, and beer....
michael moore has a good chance to keep communicating with an open minded, but misinformed america

Point me in the direction of true journalism. And don't say anything currently broadcast on tv, or in 90 percent of our magazines.

Media in any western country is going to be in some way tied to some org. Therefore one must gather reports from allot of different sources, and then the most important thing is to "THINK FOR YOURSELF". FYI you would be amazed and shocked about the pictures and videos not shown on any US or British media.

america is mis-informed but why is he trying to mis-inform even further?
ah fuck
i feel like throwing a pie at MM
and he will smile and eat it..

If there was a such thing as true journalism in the USA, Bush would not be in office. The rich would not run the country, and American's wouldn't have an excuse to remain so damn ignorant.
Not that they have an excuse now.

"I was walking back to my office after casting a vote, and all of a sudden some oversized guy puts a mike in my face and a camera in my face," said the Minnesota Republican. "He starts asking if I can help him recruit more people from families of members of Congress to participate in the war on terror."
Kennedy said he told Moore that he has two nephews in the military, one who has just been deployed in the Army National Guard.
But to Kennedy's annoyance, his response to Moore was cut from the trailer (and from the film, according to a spokeswoman for the movie).
"The interesting thing is that they used my image, but not my words," Kennedy said. "It's representative of the fact that Michael Moore doesn't always give the whole story, and he's a master of the misleading."

that's right, attack him on his weight like a good american. anyway, being a former film student with a great affection for documentaries...im very glad to see Moore getting some awards, some $$$, and some respect for his work..

I think you should look at any media which is trying to tell you "THE TRUTH" with a curious eye. The problem is, most americans are just too damned lazy to think for themselves. Do I believe everything MM says is being told from a completely unbiased point of view? Hell no! But am I willing to hear what he has to say and make up my own mind as to what I believe. The problem with "Wal-martian Americans" is they will not question what they hear. Do I need to remind you of the Saddam/9-11 connection? People still believe the terrorists of 9-11 were from Iraq, not Saudi Arabia!

OK guys 50% of America thinks this way the other doesn't think at all, let's just continue this thread after the 25th of June, which by the way is opening night for this new documentary is called "Fahrenheit 911" by Michael Moore.
