PLAYSTATION 2 Vs. XBOX

I've had a playstation 2 for a few years and have always been a sony fan, so I say if you want a sturdy good standing system - this is the choice. The x-box on the other hand is a little more polished, I've never not liked it, but it's just not as 'allaround' good as the ps2. Gamecubes good too, has that addictive classic playback factor about it. Probably the best 'party gamer' system. So it's all up to what you want to do. PS2... solid amount of titles, pretty good graphics, Xbox ... polished perfect graphics, gets expensive to expand (dvd remote, etc.), four player ports, etc. Gamecube - best of both worlds for a good time system. meh.....

yeah, cause sony is for the people. Giving money to sony or Nintendo is so much better than microsoft. Just go into a store, play all three of the consoles. Pick the one you like.

hey brn, the ps2 doesnt support surround sound 5.1, it replicates it using stereo sound through your rear left and right speakers.
it can have 5.1 in the cut-to scenes but not in game, the xbox supports ingame surround sound

You're all chumps. To even compare the dated playstation is a fools game for starters - graphics aside - who wants 200 shitty games and one good game on the shelves. X-box on the other hand is an ugly piece of shit and considering that Gamecube exists excites my pee wee.
The Gamecube is the masters choice - not only does it have all the games that the shit-box has but it also has even better games besides (ala metroid). Don't be a chump machine - your posting on a design website - so get something that's well designed and thought out.

my buddy got the xbox and threw a 120 gigabyte drive in it.
he goes rents games and sticks them on the HD, he has about 20 or so on there now and another 70 gigs left....
modding things is sorta cool.

brundlefly I did the same with my xbox. I play all the old snes/nes/sega ms/genny/arcade games, watch divx movies and copy games.
Don't tell anyone. :)
Though I pretty much only play online games (xbox live) and you have to buy the online games, so I'm not a complete savage.

Just steal all three of the consoles! It's the only logical solution.
But PS2 is my choice fo sho. The only reason I own that little gaycube that sits in the closet is because I'm awaiting the remake of Metal Gear Solid. Xbox I also own but I never play it. Nothing that really interests me or keeps my attention for very long.
Own a PS2 if only for Metal Gear Solid 3. Did you see that shit? He hangs from a tree with one hand and caps the guys with another, then drops and shanks the last gaurd, only to dissappear in the shadows...
