I don't know about you guys but I try to stay fucking far away from stereotypes like that. Emo, punk, Gangsta, Goth. They all make me sick.

yea, saves the day and grandaddy have been categorized as emo music. i guess that stresses the point about putting things in their right place. it's the whole "i'm hip-hop, you're not hip-hop thing." pointless.

ah all the clothing links and comments still prevail. That is the problem with any "scene". Wearing the latest gear doesn't make you emo, hip hop, or any of that shit. Peoples like or dislike in music based on a belt or sneaker is pathetic. Good music gets passed becuase of such things and bad music gets repected for the same reasons. Alot of you just need to close your eyes and listen. The same can be said for hip hop (uh boots, baggy jeans, football jersey). Alot of music sucks and alot is good beyond the clothing.
EMO means nothing to those who listen to all music- it only means something to the insecure and indenity wannas and aint gonnas.
