Looks like a scam to collect email addresses and credit card numbers.
Check out the URL as you enter your credit card info on their affilate sites (eg eBay) - it's still freeipods.com. It's a fake eBay site.
Plus, why the hell would anyone give away free iPods?

It's called pyramid marketing. Though the technical definition may not match with what this company is doing, it's the same thing.
You purchace a service and convince several other people to purchace that service or various other services on top of that, you sell them an idea that they can get something really great out of it (in this case, an iPod). They, in turn, do the same to several other people. You aren't making any money because you aren't getting a kickback for selling someone on AOL for broadband like you may be by this company is. That's the only way it TECHNICALLY isn't a pyramid scheme. Even still...

jeez did you guys look at the site i posted a few posts up? if you do the ebay one you dont have to enter a credit card. atleast i didnt. as for it still being a freeipods site, that's so that they'll be able to make sure that you completed the offer ( registering)
