hey so life sans band is actually quite good. GOD i used to put so much energy into it!!! energy that is now MINE again to do whatever i want mwahahaaaaa :)
ok sure there were tours across the alps and glastonbury and paris and excessive riders and go-go dancers and internets fame and all that but there were also ambulances and smashed guitars and stalkers like the man who hugs too long and lawyers and stinky rehearsal rooms and music industry wankers and tantalising trips to LA pulled at the last minute.
Being in a band is like being married to 3 people who all have ridiculous egos and personality defects (myself included).
Trying to get a record out is like running a marathon and having a baby at the same time.
