John, thanks for the revisions. I like the lighter color much better it
really works with the exterior colors! Just a couple questions/comments, we
are not sure about the Riviera Inspired cutting into the Savona. What do
you think about putting it in the box under the exterior shot? Why is the
bar shot smaller than the main dining room shot? Should they be the same
sizes? Can we switch the elk & cellar pictures? We are thinking that the
elk is a little lost on the white background as well the dark cellar shot on
the color background. Lastly the quote was chopped ( sorry about that, I
didn't write it clearly) "Savona is one of those rare restaurant whose
owners try every day in every way to improve an already outstanding
establishment. A destination Restaurant in the northeast." John Mariani
Wine Spectator Magazine. I also really like the back the same color as the
font, I think it really pulls it all together. Thanks!

So I forwarded my Art Director your site...this was the response.
This is disappointing to me. Mainly on the issues that I thought my Art Director was a step ahead of me. She just proved it wrong...Guess she doesnt understand that the work is influenced by individuals who all want a say on it...of course its not going to be "spectacular"...they stole your freedom....amazing. If this seems off...just let me know. But for some reason Im drawn to say these things.

Knowing the location of the door with the name 'TRIA', I believe that the text for the hours may be too low. If you raise it to be closer to the logo, I think the text for the hours should be smaller. The problem with that is the typeface is a very, very difficult font to cut (on our computer) at the size you have it now. If it is reduced anymore, the lower case letters will be almost impossible to hold any detail. Is an alternate style possible? The other solution (at a smaller size) may be to print these on a frosted vinyl, and then cut them to a shape, or to print a black or colored letter against a contrasting colored background, and then cut that to a shape.
