Baseball is funny, there is so much parody involved. You get 'one shot' in a long while. You just don't get back to the WS the next year again. It's extremely difficult, which sucks for the Cubs fans. Sorry guys, I'm out of this thread. Crazy! :)

okay.. now im for the sox.. if they lose.. the ratings onthe world series are in the fucking toilet.. who the hell wants to see a marlins vs. yanks world series? i'd rather watch paint peel.
think about it... sox vs. cubs woulda been the biggest ratings on a baseball game in history... . the networks are probably pissed about this too...
whatever, marlins lose 4 games straight in the world series regardless of who they play.

it's tough. but we saw some great baseball for the first time in October in a long time. I've lived in Chicago for a little over 2 years after living in Dallas for about 23 years.
The excitement up here blew away any excitement we've had there-Cowboys and 3 Super Bowls in the 90s, Stars Stanley Cup.
I love living in Chicago, and these past few weeks have been more exciting than anyone could imagine. If there's something to be happy about, that's it.Now...
Please Boston, please Boston win!!!!! You are the only team who's hats I wear, and since the Cubs are out of it please win and please destroy the Marlins!!!!!

I've had much heartache as well rooting for the Pirates and Steelers. They always manage to blow it after having good seasons. Ohhhhhhhhhhh, it's killed me. But you guys, you guys with the 1908 deal. Man that is too long. :(
