kind of a silly thing to say about Spring Training for one reason:
Tons of old people root on EVERY team during spring training, especially in Florida, where more old people live than any other state, and where quite possibly more baseball teams have spring training than any other state.

i think the cubs spring training is in arizona mg33... but you're right.... mainly because tons of old timers live in AZ as well.

It's early but mentally, the Cubs are still in the 8th inning of last night's game. I really cannot seem any difference in their deameanor as a team. They still look so dumbstruck and not motivated, whereas the Marlins look excited as hell. In fact, Wood isn't sharp and has already thrown about 40 pitches and it's only the second inning. Meaning, he isn't gonna' last very long. He'll be out by the 5th. That might be better for the Cubs, switch it up.

ALL of the Cubbies have to hit for them to win this. It's not so easy to neutralize the Marlins' lineup though. If Pierre and Castillo keep getting on all night, it's over with. There are too many weapons from 3 to 6.
