I came in early to try to get them scanned today but it looks like it'll only be up and running Thursday or Friday. think on Monday 'm gonna shot a portrait of the girl I think I told you about.Sort of punky with batwoman style tattoos.esting her doing makeup on herself,may use her as a makeup artist as well if it looks good.Thao says shes pretty creative.we'll see soon enough.

I probably won't need clothes for her,she has her own stlye that's pretty cool.But if you can get clothes I'll organize some more models for next week.I just boughta prism on ebay yesterday,reallygreat price.

typical free world problem avoidance syndrome. Instead of dealing with the problem at its root (i.e., social education on discrimination, homophobia, and bigotry) lets just build another wall. How can smart people be so dumb.

It didn't suprise me to hear that there was a school just for gays, but the fact that it is a public school is what suprised me

i think that the Hedrick_martin institute started it primarily for kids who are kicked out of their homes or beaten up so much that it affects their ability to learn.
while it sounds like most people on this thread feel that everyone is bullied in high school, some gay kids get raped by bullies, some gay kids are beaten up so regularly that they develop emotional disorders, etc... I think that this isn't a school people are going to because its a great magnet school but because its a last resort.
If it helps to cut down on teenage gay kids committing suicide, I think its a good idea. And Hedrick Martin is private, I'm not sure to what extent the school is public...

Jesse Helms has ideas about art as well.
the hmi site seemed to suggest that most people who come to the school are referred because they're school scenario is so bad, school guidance counselors etc.. It seems like its a safety/mental health issue and its for at risk kids.
There are lots of exclusive programs for at risk kids, like drug abusers, developmentally challenged, etc.. that our tax dollars pay for.

I used to like to draw rainbows when I was a little kid because I thought either Lucky Charms or A Pot O' Gold was at the end of it but as it turns out...there is just a men's public restroom with a glory hole where the urinal should be.
bummer.

i don't think drug abusers should have their own school that is paid for by the citizen's tax dollars. now mentally challenged i can agree with. but drug abusers and gays can have private schools that are just for them, but if they have their own public schools, then every minority in the world should have their own. mexicans, african americans, chinese, christian, catholic, everyone could go complain to the government that they want their own school.
